美麗的印尼女傭小麗（Lola Amaria 飾）和溫暖的泰國建築工阿勇（Banlop Lomnoi 飾），在繁華的台北市井之中相互依靠，一面艱困求生，一面談著簡單的戀愛。小麗在大都市近郊的按摩店，結識了泰國女傭Wonpen（吳立琪 飾），兩人相濡以沫；隨後又輾轉到一家麵店打工，認識了一位半身不遂的退休電影女星費曼光（楊貴媚），也一步步發現了當年受雇於費曼光的親姊姊，意外死亡背後的驚人事實。同時，小麗的愛人阿勇被抓了，面臨被遣送的命運……。

Stiya, an Indonesian maid, and Supayong, a construction worker from Thailand are two runaway foreign laborers who, while looking for job opportunities, drift between Taipei and Taoyuan. With incomes lower than the minimum wage, these two foreigners rely on each other and share the burden of loneliness among the hustle and bustle of a thriving city. In the cold and brutal winter, they strive for survival while developing a gentle and simple relationship full of humor, using a language that both are still awkward with: Chinese, the language of their host country.
